THE DEVS ARE LOSING THE CORE VAULE OF THE ALBION GAME

I don’t understand why I get so flamed on the forums. I make a point that the devs have moved away from the core values of the game. This happened once they sold founder packs and casuals and care bears came in, and SI decided to listen to them, and Just them.

 

The game was founded on the idea that this is a MMO, and you need to work with other people to survive and advance in the game. But the casual solo player came along and complained so they have to fit their play style in, which in fact degrades to value of this being a MMO where you need to play with others. Yellow zones are safe to gather and farm in, no PvP left in the Yellow zones, cant die, cant Loot them. this ruins the market, if you anit losing gear, you anit buying gear. Resource plots also give this feeling, lots of rewards and no risk. and then the market is flooded with resources.

 

The sandbox feel is also going away. Look at the weapons, all these new weapons, but where is the customization. In the past test you had 5 and 6 spells to chose from when making your weapon, this has been reduced, to where Sword A is just like Sword B etc. I remember trying to figure out which 2 spells work best on Ax out of the 5 choices, now there is no choice. We are seeing this with the buildings. Having the repair station be only NPC hurts the sandbox feel. there was no NPC building expect for the t3 at the start zones. Ic an this being an issue with farming buildings, people will complain that there should be a basic cook in each city too. you add one building why not all

Now this “learning points system” system for the DB. (btw how long in till they say you can buy these points with gold). Once SI said no Exp system in the game since this can create some one being too OP. as of the last test, you really had to pick one or 2 paths and stick with it. now with these learning points system, you can unlock parts of the DB without ever doing anything in that path. Best part of the game was how you play deteremd who you were. now the casual who wants to unlock everything can, not focus on something, just unlock with a point system.

 

“there was a feeling that when you die you really lose something” not now, soft core death in green zones and yellow zones. what are you losing now, nothing. this is the wrost change of the core value of the game. those who play in the red zone, sure you access to t7 and t8 resources. so what. Player stays in green zone/yellow zones get to t5/t6 , grinds sliver, takes boat to red city and buys t7 t8 mats. never has to risk anything. this was a game of risk vs reward.Buy cheap Albion Online gold on MOBXE.COM
